And the winner is..........

Cathy at cathyswatercolors!!!!  yay cathy, I left a comment on your blog to let you know.  You can all see her beautiful blog here.

Things I ran across today:
Actually, I ran across my dog.  He is always underfoot, and if I am in the kitchen, he waits behind me, hoping I will trip over him and drop something scrumptious that  he can grab off of the floor before I can clean it up.  That is why I am posting this contour drawing I did of him years ago.

Here is a journal entry I ran across:  I was imagining the big hair and wanted to do a colorful painting of a face with this hair.  So I thought I would jot it down in my journal.  Then I started just drawing and came up with the rest.  Don't know what I will do with it yet.  We'll see.  Then I ran across this folder tucked away in my moms things.  She passed away in '06 and was such a sweet person.

My mom saved this!!

I found this old, yellowed sheet of paper that my mom saved of some cartoons I copied from an edition of Mad Magazine.  It was in a folder marked "Christine"  awwww... how sweet is that?  Have a wonderful day!

How sly is your dog !!! Your work is very creative Cristine, and I think you must have shed a little tear when you found the folder your mother had saved, it is so sweet. Have a nice week end.

My dogs do the very same thing! They do get lucky, quite often, when carrots fly off the cutting board.

I love your sketches and finding the page your mom saved...so touching. It would be very cool framed.

Thank you for stopping by.
