Scary! I guess I really need Adobe Photoshop or an equivalent. This image is from my scanner. bleh...I like the composition, but the original is so much more smooth and soft than this image. (Which I painted from a photograph I took in my friends backyard). I can get some tips from aRt at his blog for artists who use Photoshop. Oh, and you can too.

this painting is gorgeous...even if the colours are out of wack...lol
i saw it in the older post...
there is something so yummy about seeing canvas......and paint...and all that good stuff....
but only a fellow artist would understand that obsession! right!

The painting is great - like the glow in the center of the flower - I used to have the same problem w/my scanner until I shut the auto sharpening off on in the scanner preferences - might do the trick!
