Scary! I guess I really need Adobe Photoshop or an equivalent. This image is from my scanner. bleh... I like the composition, but the original is so much more smooth and soft than this image. (Which I painted from a photograph I took in my friends backyard). I can get some tips from aRt at his blog for artists who use Photoshop. Oh, and you can too.

this painting is gorgeous...even if the colours are out of wack...lol i saw it in the older post... there is something so yummy about seeing canvas......and paint...and all that good stuff....
but only a fellow artist would understand that obsession! right!
The painting is great - like the glow in the center of the flower - I used to have the same problem w/my scanner until I shut the auto sharpening off on in the scanner preferences - might do the trick!
