This is a line drawing I did in my art journal. I love drawing eyes and doodling. This poem has been running around inside my head too, and I thought they went well together.
The reason for the poem: One day I was struggling with my attitude and in blaming God for my situation, I realized it was Him that I was angry with and I decided to tell Him so. Then, it felt as if He put an arm around me and said, "I can understand why you feel that way." What a sense of being understood instead of judged for my feelings.
